Hi! I am Nico Shi @Syntonikka.

I'm passionate about creating immersive, interactive experiences in virtual spaces, such as XR games, interactive art installations, and other digital mixed-media content.

In 2020 I started working at Snapchat as an AR engineer, where I created many templates in Lens Studio and designed interactive AR games, educational materials and art content for the Snapchat platform.

In 2022 I went on a year long trip around the globe exploring co-ops, DAOs and the Solarpunk social movement, interviewing intentional villages and participated in various artist residencies. Later I launched Agartha, a global map of Solarpunk communities at the intersection of art, technology and regeneration.

Currently I am building mobile games, experimenting with more 3D concept arts, making music and researching the Solarpunk knowledge landscape. 😎
